Elmu is a young adult, living alone in Gravity Falls. Due to the town's habit of being such a weird place, she isn't safe either. In other words, weird things keep happening. All this mess started in the summer of 2014, two years after Mabel and Dipper's first arrival.
She's been working so hard in the Greasy Diner so she can take two weeks free from work. It's just her luck that everything goes wrong from the beginning.
[Spoiler alert, this is basically my first try to write a fanfic :D I'm also just pretending to live there so there's going to be more than just swooning over grunkles. Buuut... This is going to be a Ford x OC because who can resist a fluffy old man?]

After a terrible car crash resulting in the death of their parents, 17 year olds Dipper and Mabel Pines are sent back to Gravity Falls to live with their Grunkles. Mabel now hates Dipper, and blames him for the crash, since they were only out getting him his anxiety medication. The Grunkles don't fully agree with Mabels logic, but are still distant with Dipper, for they think he's a freak because of his anxiety. And so in the one place he felt he could truly call home, Dipper was now alone and hated by the "family" that once loved him. One night, Dipper overhears the family talking about how useless he is and, doing the only thing he knows, he runs.
