She found them in the woods by the highway, late at night. Bloodied and beat up, begging for help. A boy chased them through, ready to destroy them, and she and her friends intervened. She brought the stranger into her own house.
Veronica wants so desperately to give them a chance at life, but they've already given up on it. She's intent on keeping them safe.
