Based on my real life coming-out experience, My New Normal is a story about the complexities of coming to terms with your sexuality and--most importantly--accepting yourself.

College is an amazing experience that alters your views on the world, on life, and on yourself. As a freshman in college, Alexis is expecting all of these things to happen. However, when her roommate, Nadia, comes into the picture, everything that Alexis knows about herself changes. As she starts to question everything that she knows about herself, feelings for Nadia bubble underneath the surface.
