A group of 9 found an abandoned hospital in North Carolina. When they were in high school, they dreamed about reopening the abandoned hospital to help out their community after having members of their family and friends die due to the lack of care from white-owned hospitals. Later when there older they bought that abandoned hospital and on their own, the journey begins.

The hospital stands as a testament to their dedication, a beacon of hope for a community that has long been underserved. The story unfolds with a mix of medical drama, personal triumphs, and the enduring bonds of friendship as they strive to make Petunia Hospital Center a beacon of black excellence in healthcare for their community.
