After a rogue encounter with an unknown element, the crew of the CSS Squeak Bone finds themselves parting ways with their sister ship in the wake of an alien attack. Limping back home, a strange ping from a place calling itself "Red Base" alerts them to time being more plastic than they ever thought possible.
And that's only the beginning of their worries...
Between those altruistic goals that they believe so heavily in getting twisted, meeting their heroes, battling inner turmoil, and the looming horror of the Fog, the crew of the CSS Squeak Bone must come to terms that they're what stands between Terra and Extinction.
