In 1997, Frank Iero has made a living for himself in the city of Los Angeles by means of prostitution. He's felt lost ever since his best friend in high school, Gerard Way, disappeared the day after graduation without warning. Frank has always been a bit more attached to Gerard than he'd like to admit, even to himself-perhaps so far as obsessed.

Around the same time a serial killer begins a historically gruesome rampage in Los Angeles, Gerard Way reappears in Frank's life the same way he left it-without warning. However, in every other way, he's changed-he's now a handsome, confident billionaire, as well as mysterious and dangerous, and he wants to take Frank around the country seeking revenge on the people who bullied them in high school, starting in Vegas.
Will Frank's obsession with Gerard lessen or worsen-could it even put his life at risk? Would Gerard love him back? What is the identity of the at-large serial killer, nicknamed the Vampire, and will he ever be caught?
