Jean speaks calmly to him, not trying to fuel his anger.

Kaeya gives Jean a face that says 'are you messing with me right now?'. Kaeya is baffled at how dead serious she looks. "This has to be a joke, Jean. You can't be seriously orderering me to go on with this!" Kaeya states, angry.
