Shadows and Embers

Zuko has two sisters. Twin prodigies, who have never failed Ozai. This is the story of the youngest of the fire siblings: Soza. Named after her great-grandfather Fire Lord Sozin who began the great Fire Nation expansion, she hopes to live up to the name.

This is a story about Soza ultimately, she does interact with canon character of course many of them are very important to her and her journey. I intend to really focus on the dynamic between the sisters and how that changes as their world views do.

If you want to see the Fire Nation kids actually being kids at times this is the place. Suki also is more relevant in this than in canon. So yeah we love Suki here.

There is a slow burn and it's wlw so if you don't like that please just don't read this.

Again it's a slowburn. A lot of these characters are really emotionally unavailable and are in the middle of a war and fighting other kids they'd probably really get along with if not for the nation they were born in. So keep that in mind please.
