Somalikit didn't know what he got himself into, when he found out that he was the sole cat of a new prophecy. well, his father, Coalstar, was the clan leader after all! 
All the attention that he got from the other cats filled him with excitement and joy. But he knew that his mother, Bronzebird, was keeping a secret for him and his sister. something was very wrong, and soon would Somalikit and his sister, Willowkit go through a variety of different traumatizing encounters to relieve the big secret, that Bronzebird and Coalstar never told them. 
The thing that they discovered were soon to chance the whole forest to the worse, and the trees would be painted in blood.
