Romance
"I'm not necessarily a girl to cry. And I'm defiantly not one to tell my feelings." 17 year old Hannah George puts the hard in hard life. She gets beaten and abused by her step dad, randy (if that is his real name), every night. To make it worse she gets bullied by one boy, Parker Fallon, and his friends at school. She doesn't have any friends because Parker spread so many rumors about her no one will go near her. She keeps telling herself 2 more years and she'll be off to college, but that feels like its forever away. She never understands what she did to deserve this. She never understands what she did to Parker. But what will happen when Parker tries to talk to her one day. Maybe there is more to him than that meets the eye. Maybe there really is some good in his cold heart. But what will happen when Hannah has to face her biggest problem yet. Could it really be love?

Complete! "You know I really like you, right?" He was definitely drunk. "You do?" I asked. My voice was supposed to be teasing, but I think it came off as a bit startled. He laughed, "Yeah, why else would I trust you with all my secrets?" -- Betty was many things; a romantic, a fashion designer, a bit more jealous than the average girl, great with a camera, a helpful daughter and a good friend. But she was best known for being nice. And usually, the boy did not want the 'nice' girl. But this summer she was going to prove to Mike, her crush since FOREVER, that nice was enough. She was going to have an amazing summer, a perfect Junior year, and finally have her first kiss. It was a foolproof plan. Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.
