Worthless, or False?

Credit for the idea on tt, @brceyamada !! (go follow them!) The year is 1976. Vance & Bruce aren't two people you would normally see together. Well that's cause they didn't get along. Until one day where Vance couldn't control himself and had protected Bruce. It was always, "We don't ever fucking speak of this, or us hanging out Bruce Yamada." the two ended up talking at least every other day. until 1977 when Vance went missing. Bruce was horrible. He didn't really have anyone to talk to, but since no one had knew about the two he had to put an act on. He acted as if he was worried, as in "I don't know this person, I hope there okay" kind of act. A year later in 1978 Bruce went missing too. He tried to escape, he did whatever he could until the phone rang. Or was it fake? Was he wrong about it? Was it all in his head?
