Dr. Kanchou, after losing all his 27k crystals that he earned hard to roll for Aponia, and didn't get her, couldn't have slept for nights and have deep regrets on his own actions.
He got depressed, and even in his dreams that Aponia would appear in his roll, to the point he got obsessed with Gacha.
One day, a mysterious Li Sushang appeared outta nowhere and is running away from a monster, after saving her, Kanchou discovers the Multiverse, and decided to head there and find a world where he got Aponia. But when he told Ai-chan about it, things gone south real quick.
