Anadil is like a ghost to most in the town of Briar Glen, Nevada, a social outcast only known for her eerie appearance and wealthy family.
Hester has fallen from grace. Once a top student who valued status and rank above all, she's collapsed into a pit of darkness and self-loathing, no longer caring about herself or anything else in her life.
It's 1995. For Hester, it's the year she hit rock bottom. For Anadil, it's the last year she has to prove herself to her mother. But when their paths are forced to converge, a whirlwind of shaky trust, vague confessions, and unexplainable feelings send all of their expectations spiraling out of control.

From the Ashes (A School for Good and Evil Fanfic)
A letter. A secret. And a boy named Ash. This was supposed to be their happily ever after, but Hester isn't so sure. Maybe it has something to do with the letter from an old acquaintance, one that makes her doubt every memory. Maybe it's the secrets from her past that keep coming back to haunt her. Or maybe it's the feelings for her best friend that she can't seem to ignore. Everything turns upside down when a little boy named Ash enters town, a boy who looks eerily similar to the witches' former enemy. There's something ancient, something haunted in Ash's eyes, and with the mysterious Society of Mount Ingerthorn as well as the wicked warlock Zephyr Killoran on the boy's tail, it certainly won't be long until the Coven figures out what, whether they want to or not... This story is a fanfiction portraying the events subsequent to the closing of "The One True King" by Soman Chanani, as well as following the unknown backstory of one of our favorite witches, Hester of Ravenswood. I also did a piece on Anadil's backstory as a part of my previous story, Chaos Rising. A new chapter of this story will be posted every Saturday (or Sunday, but I try for Saturday) WARNING: There is a bit of violence in this story, about the same as the original SGE series. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters except for Ash, Lilith, Zephyr, and the Society of Mount IngerthornComplete

If you asked anyone who Gwyneth Barrett is, they'd have a lot to say about her. Her classmates at her preppy high school would tell you that she's a perfect role model, but her friends in Brooklyn would call her haunted. Their school peers only see one side to each of them, never knowing the truth behind the masks. Being the children of two wealthy families comes with many secrets. Wealth isn't as glamorous as one would hope. The two have hardly crossed paths, until their father's strike a business deal, throwing their eighteen year old children's lives onto the same track. Neither Ezekiel or Gwyneth are who they seem. Nothing would be the same after they meet and secrets are revealed, and lives are destroyed on the Upper East Side of New York. They are the perfect Duet Of Deceit. ________________ TDOD will contain sensitive subjects and materials. Refer to the introductory for the list of warnings. R18+ Due to the nature variants of plot. She had to live through every day pretending she was normal, when she knew she was so far past sane it was unbearable to even think about.
