Ghosts of the Past: A Breezepelt Short.

This is my first "Warriors Short!" As the name suggests, it'll be a very quick read, which is why that this is complete with only three parts. Regardless, I hope you enjoy!
This is an AU (alternate universe) set in WindClan after the battle with the Dark Forest. This will contain spoilers for Omen of the Stars, so proceed with caution.

Since the battle with the Dark Forest, Breezepelt hadn't heard from the lost spirits of the great leaders from long ago.
WindClan had soon recovered from their injuries, but the shadow of the forest still hung throughout the air. The cats simply didn't trust each other anymore. They were scared. And mostly, scared of Breezepelt.

Breezepelt is still struggling to fit in with his Clan. He swears to StarClan that he's past his foolishness when he fought for the Dark Forest. But when he discovers a shocking secret about the only cat who would stand with him, he begins to doubt if he's meant to be a Clan cat...
