that's all orphaned teen Kaia allowed herself to accept. As a young socially awkward girl trying to find her place within her clan she has given up all hope trying to connect with others and instead does her best to take on whatever jobs she can to prove herself. But when a certain cerulean colored boy and his family move in, her plans seemed to be thrown out the window.

Bought together by an unexpected event, Kaia finds herself questioning her "hatred" and this boy's actions. Eventually, she comes to the startling conclusion that Neteyam might be the one to help her face her demons head on...but as what?

Strangers, Allies, Lovers, Rivals or Enemies. What will they become? Better said, will they manage to stay together through an earth shattering event?

This story contains mild swearing, heavy violence towards the end, mentions of depression, anxiety, self-doubt and hatred, mild sexual content (no smut of any kind will be written as both main characters are minors) A disclaimer will be provided at the forefront of any chapter containing these elements.

Timeline: This story follows the events during the first Avatar movie, right after the battle at hometree, and later the main story of James Cameron's Avatar: The way of water. General events and plotlines will be followed but certain scenes will be tweaked, removed or added onto for the purpose of this story.

This story takes place over the course of eight months to a year.
