spoilers for the masquerade event!! pls read description for info :)

this book is going to be a bunch of shorts about rollo if he were to confess, get expelled from noble bell, and transfer to nrc-and then refuse to live in any dorm except for ramshackle because you, the reader, have no magic and you're the only one rollo can (barely) tolerate.

there isn't gonna be any linear plot to these shorts, and sometimes they may overlap because i want to explore all possibilities. some will be romantic, some will include other characters, but most of all i want to focus on rollo and reader trying to help this stubborn boy. length will vary and a synopsis will be presented at the beginning of each chapter!! the reader is gn :)

After barely managing to scrape by, he somehow made it to his junior year at Central Haven, one of the most prestigious preparatory high schools in the country. He was prepared for another two tiresome years of high school, but the future has other plans for him. The start of the school year brings with it the infamous Central Haven merit project. Unfortunately, it's done in pairs this year. Even worse, he's stuck with Azure, notorious for his flippant demeanor. His living situation gets worse and his scholarship is at risk. Azure notices Elliot's struggles and the two make a deal. Surely Azure's up to something, but what? Regardless, Elliot isn't in a position to refuse. ...Maybe they'll find and lose Liberation. -/- If you're unsure about this reading this story, I hope you'll at least stick around to chapter 7 when the story begins ramping up. This story is a slow burn, enemies to friends to lovers. Please do not take this story at surface value as there is a lot of subtext. Be aware: the story can be extremely subtle. The story delves into various topics with social commentary so if you want a nuanced modern romance story, I highly suggest you give this story a try. Elliot is a strong protagonist, just less traditional. Updates will come on Fridays at 4 p.m. (PST) with most months having at least one update. The ending is planned so the story won't be incomplete.

Story will be in 2nd person, they/them pronouns will be used, and there will be little to no description of Y/N because I don't want to take away from anyone's imagination. And I WILL take it as seriously as possible. I'm also not going to make Y/N's backstory like crazy depressing, they won't have a specific back story. I'm trying to make it slow burn, but not too slow burn. I want to make sure I actually finish this book. I wrote the first four chapters before publishing and I'll go from there. Please, she is so gay and so, so lonely. ______________________________________ Writing the events of Twisted Wonderland as if I (or at least a version of myself that would actually progress the story) were the main character. CW: Swears (I swear like a sailor), descriptions of violence (describing in-game events; my style gets pretty prosey.) A lot of artistic license/minor worldbuilding/details/etc. Probably no ships; definitely no selfships or MC/OC+Canon ships or whatever you wanna call it. If there are ships, they're gonna be more subtext than anything else. If I go too OOC with ur faves I'm sorry, I'm doing my best but I'm dumb and mostly just try to get the 'vibes' right for each character; also might comedically exaggerate some traits for Shenanigans purposes sometimes. Basically, none of them should have left Rollo alone after he tried to take away everyone's magic. This is purely self-indulgent, but a little bit of backstory about this story. When I first play this cursed app (it is my fun nickname for it), my three favorites are Azul, Idia, and Malleus with my favorite movie being the Hunchback of Notre Dame. So, in a week or so, they announced this event with Rollo. You don't need to read the Twisted Hearts series for this, but this will feature two OCs where two will play a major part in the story . With Rollo feeling hurt and frustrated for losing to the students at Night Raven college, he vows revenge. This consumes him to find a "maiden of pure heart" and to gain a new power to crush them. The darkness takes control of him to the point where it controls him and decides to kidnap many maidens across the land. Neige comes crying for help while Azul is depressed that he hasn't heard from Aquamarine. Crowley hears about this and tasks the freshmen to find the maidens at the City of Flowers. The rest of the students involved in the previous masquerade follow them to ensure they're safe, but this leads to a fiery clash. Then again, they shouldn't have left Rollo alone.

I barely see him in stories and most of them are "x reader/yn" they arent bad, I just want to read more of this little gremlin. So that's why I made this book:)) Also, I love making angst but ofc there has to be fluff:33 I like both concepts a lot. Lastly, some will be about the first years in general. That's all!!
