Scourge The Hedgehog has escaped from prison and the only thing on his mind is finding his missing lover Fiona and enacting on his revenge on Sonic and his friends. The way he does it is by kidnapping Amy and holding her hostage against her will. With Amy's life on the line, Sonic and the gang along with the Freedom Fighters must stop Scourge's evil plan before it's too late.
