I keep a diary. And in this diary are my deepest and darkest secrets. If anyone ever got a hold of this diary I'd be ruined. Captain of the cheerleading squad and anorexic? My team mates would never look at me the same. I self harm. My parents would never look at me the same. I do these huge and dramatic things to myself for a reason though. They all think my life is perfect, but they don't know me. No one knows me... Until I finally decided to publish this diary. This is the story of my life, the story of how what seems like a perfect girl like me, isn't as perfect as people make it seem. This is the story of the imperfect Mary Jane. I'm not perfect. This book is my secret diary. My treasure the most precious. I am very careful to protect it and not let it fall into other people's hands. This book is my weak point. In wrong hands, this book will become a source of flavor a shame that I may never be able to get rid of. This book is like a spotlight shining on me and my mind, when all I wanted was to not noticed. Even worse, if my diary falls into the hands of a powerful and dominant girl, it would be a death sentence for freedom, independence, and my life as I know it.
