Bakugo and Deku met at a coffee shop when the place was too crowded and the only spot was at Bakugo's table. Deku being in middle school was terrified of how scary Bakugo looked but he had no choice but to sit with him. Bakugo found it cute how Deku would turn pink at the slightest eye contact or when Deku would flash him a smile if he tried to make conversation.
Bakugo became so intrigued by him and made it his mission to be friends with him. Bakugo and Deku grew closer after each meet up and finally Bakugo asked Deku out. They dated for a while and after having the best night of their life as Bakugo always thought Deku disappeared and Bakugo never heard from him.

But he can say it in such ease.. like it was a word that naturally belonged in his mouth. But, that doesn't make sense at all! He was troubled, no matter how much he recall, he couldn't think of any moments that he uttered such name before.. Nor does he remember any moments that his master mentioned such No! "Who's that quiet guy?" The girl asked her classmate. "Oh him? I heard that he kills anyone that talks to him!" She nervously glanced at him from across the room. "He's already killed that one quirkless kid." The first girl shuddered. "We better stay away from him then!" She turned to her other friend, asking, "What do you think of him?"
