A group of fifth-grade students played the popular game "Werewolf" instead of completing their assigned English essay, which led to their capture by their English teacher. The teacher brought them to a detention classroom, where something mysterious occurred. Suddenly, the eleven students were transported to a remote location far from their hometown. There, they found themselves playing the same game of Werewolf in a strange building, unsure of how or why they ended up there. As night fell, the students realized that the Werewolf was among them, and they needed to find and defeat it before it killed them all. The stakes were high, and their curiosity turned to fear as they tried to survive until morning. Would the students be able to uncover the identity of the Werewolf and emerge victorious, or would the Werewolf be the last one standing in this deadly game? We held our breath as we heard footsteps enter the dark room. My heart raced and I covered my mouth to keep from screaming as tears ran down my cheeks. Caleb sat next to me, with obvious fear in his eyes. I knew that the desk couldn't hide us for much longer and that's what scared me the most. The footsteps came closer and they grew louder by the second. I held my breath once I heard the man's footsteps stop. Caleb and I exchanged looks as we sat frozen under the desk. I looked up, trying to listen to the man's actions. Then a gloved hand grabbed the edge of the desk and the man's bloody mask appeared in front of me. Will these students be able to survive this outbreak? This was a group stories my friends and I wrote. I felt like I should give them some credit.
