I'm not super sure how to explain this...

Basically the story is that yaboi Deku had the whole thing where he met All Might and saved Kaachan and yadayada. But the difference is that he actually managed to effectively save the 'splody. Out of wounded pride, guilt, and worry for Izuku's safety, All Might decides to reinforce that he doesn't think a quirkless person can become a hero.

This leads Deku to decide once and for all that he doesn't need anybody's aprooval for his dreams. So he trucks ahead and doesn't let nobody stop him.

I have borrowed some stats for this from a oneshot I read on Ao3 called 'Alone in Crowds (but not in sentiment)' where Aizawa and Deku are both quirkless.

I should say, this thing is gonna be kinda dark. Probably not as dark as some other things I've made on here but amma give the warning nonetheless.
