Years had long passed since the incident with the Kraang invasion. New York seemed to have crime die down, and the turtles have spent the last few years training, and working on their mystic powers to the best of their abilities.
As time went on, April had graduated College and spent time training with them as well, alongside Casey. It seemed things were calm, most of the oozequitos vanquished, at least that's what they thought.

It was on a Tuesday when it happened, the twins were celebrating their 22 birthday with everyone. A small party, skateboarding, and the distant sound of crying echoing throughout the sewers.
Curious, the boys set out to find the strange crying, only to see a small camping area at the far end of the sewers. As well as a green figured curled up, and sobbing into their knees.
