One good guesser and one who deducts, they come to the same conclusion fast. And both of them just happen to have functioning gaydars. 

Watson has to stay in London as Sherlock leaves to help solve a murder case. He meets Mr. jane and it is a pleasant surprise for the both of them. Sherlock can sense that the other man has feeling for the woman who appears to be his boss. Those feelings are nowhere to be found during a dinner that just happens to become a date. Sherlock is hesitant to try to escalate their relationship anywhere, then he gets hypnotized. The next time he sees him. Feelings are spilled. Because you can't hypnotize someone to do something they don't want to do.

Whilst coming up with this fic idea I have only watched two episodes of the mentalist.All Rights Reserved

After more months, he loses his hope, killing everyone around as if that would make anything better. Nigel gets locked up in an asylum, declared for mentally unstable: charged for many, many murders. And since he doesn't ages, they keep him for experiments. Since they are very religious in there, they believe it's the Devil his son. After eight years, somehow Nigel keeps seeing this blonde-reddish boy visiting him. He tells him stories, being all cheeky and forces him to wait. The doctors around are trying anything to get that boy out of Nigel his mind, and when they don't succeed, they decide to use electroshock therapy for that. As Nigel threats to lose Alex, the connection between the two fades a lot. Alex has barely enough strength to stay around, and gets forced to find a body before he disappears forever. Strangely enough a patient passes by during Nigel his therapy. A suspicious girl that always wants to know everything that's going around. Since she is the only weak person of them all in a near distance, Alex gets into her body - being forced to share it with another soul. As soon as Nigel realizes that the girl isn't just somebody, and they can't get away from each other, there's only one option left. But what will happen? Will Alex get his body back?
