In an interesting world where the power of magic is hereditary, Aubrey is unable to cast a single spell despite being from a powerful family. This led to him falling in love with a chaotic old witch living in the woods who somehow knew about his secret and agreed to teach him alchemy, but that's after kidnapping him.

But necromancy gets thrown into the mix, a cult is after him, and somehow the most mysterious powerful family is involved in all of this. Death is prevalent, but so are secrets, and Aubrey finds himself slowly enjoying how twisted everything is.All Rights Reserved

However in this day and age, vampires walked freely amongst the city. After all, they needed humans to feed and in order to do that, they had to blend in. The war between vampires and angels had to be kept secret from human kind, and the species had to stay apart. But for one vampire and one angel, it was hard to stay apart, because sometimes you can't help falling in love. COMPLETED.
