Lisa Mandel is a twenty one year old average New Yorker. Her job though, brings a great deal of adrenaline in her life as she solves tough cases and takes down brutal criminals. But something very unusual is happening in New York something beyond what can be explained. A serial killer is on the loose. Two people are already dead. They both have not just been killed but their bodies have been twisted into the shape of a six too! Lisa tries her best to get to the bottom of this case, but the killings take place so cleanly that not a single clue is left behind on the crime scene. However Lisa does find a suspect, a person whom she knows well. Her fears are realized as she gets some threatening notes and knows she’s left with two horrifying choices, either to lose her family or bring this person to justice.

Its Leah again here to rant about how obsessed I am with the new kid from NYC. He has such a bad boy vibe, not to mention all the rumors floating around town about why he got sent here. We don't get a lot of excitement around here in this small town. I spend most of my time as a ball of anxiety, but painting helps. My little sister Mia is like therapy when she sits down and paints with me. She is such a little angel. It seems like there's Never anything exciting, until the one day there was. This story is about a high school girl that has a crush on the new kid that just came to town from New York with a dark backstory. Not only does she have a new crush in town but there are a bunch of other secrets that have been coming to light with every sunrise the town sees. This town might be small but boy is there a lot of drama. The town police don't know what's worse, the splayed out animals or the missing high school girls. Leah doesn't know what to think as the town she knew as her home falls to shambles. Will she fall with the town or will she run away with the mystery man she has a secret obsession with.
