Lost in Sonder

Audrey King finds her life interrupted when the death of an unknown man invites a police investigation into her family and her home. The man in question has jumped to his death and left behind a slew of questions, most importantly; Why? What should have been an open and shut case seems to have no end in sight, and Audrey feels lost. Her parents are avoiding her questions, her sister's boyfriend is lurking in the shadows, and she can't seem to shake the feeling that she's being watched. The apparent suicide of the jumper looks more and more suspicious to her every day, and she's determined to find out what happened.

Kristen Beckett, stuck writing for a joke of a magazine, wants to move on up in the world and report on things that matter. On a ride-along with her best friend, Oliver, she is a firsthand witness to the carnage of the fall. If that wasn't traumatic enough, she spots someone in the crowd that she believed to have been dead. Through an interesting turn of events, and mysterious clues from an unnamed source, Kristen finds herself in direct contact with upcoming media mogul, Christopher Blackwell. Despite his initial reluctance to believe her, he admits that something about this incident doesn't exactly add up.

This unsolved death unites these two women as they discover they have much more in common than they ever expected. Together, they work to uncover the secrets that many intended to stay buried.
