She begins to accept her fate... that is until three men come barging through the stairwell, and she finds herself meeting a group of people she would forever cherish, love, and protect with her life.

Maxine Chinsãr is a fierce, unmistakably strong women. She would do whatever it took to protect her family, even if that means putting her own life on the line. Her past finds ways to haunt her, whether that is the consistent nightmares which constitute as reminders of what they've done to her, or put her through... and what they've made her. Though without it, she wouldn't be as strong as she is now, and her luck would have been long ran out.

The love interest for Maxine will be Daryl Dixon. This will not change throughout the book.
