Rose Alexander was the prettiest flower in the garden, but like a rose, she had thorns that only the greediest people found out about. Her mother's death, her trust in devious people, and her silver tongue get her in a plethora of issues amonst her group of friends. Follow her and her journey as a student at Hogwarts, and what mischief she gets up to.

I wrote the original story when I was younger, finding comfort in these characters as much as I do now. I'm 16 now, and I was 10 when I wrote the original. The original story no longer exists online, but will be republished if people want to read it.
I'm still rewriting the plot, and nothing will be accurate to Rowlings actual story, but I'm having a good time doing so. So I'm going to.

Sirius did something that he would never ever ever do, but he did it anyway. He broke Remus and his own heart, and as his world is slowly crumbling around him, he has to pick it all back up again single handed. After pulling "the prank" against Snape in his fifth year, he doesn't realize how much his actions would hurt Remus and he can't stop them until it's much too late to do anything about it. Marauders AU Romance
This story is based on JK Rowling's characters from the series Harry Potter. I have done my best to be accurate with both timelines and character portrayals, but of course there will be some changes since this is an alternate universe with some original characters inserted, plus, there is only so much written about the marauder's era. The story takes place in the year 1976, the boys are all in their sixth year, and tensions are high at Hogwarts. Many of the students are already feeling the influence of the Voldemort, and it is causing suspicion and division to run rampant within the walls of the school. Sirius finds himself intrigued by a Slytherin girl he'd never taken the time to notice before, and a student transfer from Ilvermorny has caught the eye of Remus. Of course James is still battling for Lilly's attention, hoping to prove how much he's matured over the summer months.
