He's sick and tired of it. Going for a late night. stroll to cool off, he notices an open portal. Not knowing how to turn it off, he jumps and slices it in half, however, it seems a bit of him was caught inside the pink portal, as the moment he slices it a splitting headache causes him to lose footing, tripping and knocking himself unconscious. An excruciating pain fills his body, before everything goes black.
