Darla Darling is full of rebellion, despite the horrendous name she was given. Falling into a cycle of depression, it's not surprising that she is a straight F student. Much to her annoyance, her lovely guidance counselor must get involved and pair her up with the most annoying person of all, Elijah Lawson.

Elijah Lawson would be a child of the sun (if it could have kids). He's sunshine all wrapped up in a person and manages to capture his classmates' hearts with his bright persona. All except one, Darla Darling.

Join Darla as she learns how to live rather than just exist. Join Elijah as he learns to see the world in a new light. Join these two idiots as they learn that once you begin to love your life through the good and bad, a special connection can be formed like no other.

To think, it all began with an unfortunate agreement.
