Everyone born in the Kingdom of Elysian is soul bonded with an animal upon their birth. Aurora Sheridan was sadly not granted this right upon her birth and was seen as an anomaly. Her father, Colin Sheridan, an infamous knight to the kingdom, moved with her to the elusive forests of Eris.
