Sodor is well known for being a beautiful place in the world, the scenery, it's residents, and most importantly, the railway with its many engines, primarily including steam and diesel, looked after by Sir Topham Hatt. Or well, that's what it used to be at least until 1998.

Now follow the story of Fred Ian Parker and Percy's driver, hid father, as they document their story of survival alongside the other surviving engines of the NWR as they battle the creatures originating from Sodor's secret underground cave systems!

Changes in the Wind - Part III: Gordon and the Extinct Ones by TheMidlandEngine

1967, the year before the end of steam. After Thomas, Edward and the other engines of Thesang managed to save a select few engines. More and more steam engines have been trying to escape to Thesang in order to survive the purge that is happening on the mainland. Whilst all this chaos is happening, Gordon feels the biggest pressure of all, with being demanded and pressured by control personally, he is being ripped apart inside. However, with the right engines around him, some he never expected to have. Gordon is seen as the only engine to save the remaining survivors of steam. Read this final adventure of this trilogy by seeing Gordon go through shock, torture and pain which will leave him as the shining hero to all engines of the UK.

Some time has passed since Thomas and TFC return from London,Sodor have been throught a lot of changes over the years,The N.W.R have made improviments over the years with technology,areas have been extended and places were build,like a conteiner yard in a old yard south of Tidmouth,and new engines have arrived over the years,as well as some old friends,join Thomas and his friends in this new series of adventures on the Island of Sodor. (Just to clarify,the images used in this fanfic do not belong to me,it belong to it's creators,so is Thomas in general,every credits goes to it's respectful creators). The main one being the newly constructed Power Plant which is already bringing a sense of unease within the first few months of it first being established. Unfortunately, things soon go wrong as Thomas is not only imprisoned, but not long after, all hell breaks loose. Will Thomas The Tank Engine and his friends, both new and old, survive this nightmare? You know the original story. Some may like it, some may not. This is why I am attempting to remaster it. Mostly due to it being incomplete and that I feel most characters didn't have the ark they deserved like Percy, Douglas and James for a few examples. I am aware I don't own SF or know the person who does but lets be honest. I doubt they care much for the story anyway. If need be I'll gladly take this down.
