She didn't really care about having friends though, as long as she was able to play soccer, she would be okay. Soccer had always been there for her, when her mom died, when she didn't have anyone else, when she was in a bad mood. It was always there for her to play. She didn't need anyone else. That changed when she met Brooke Eckmann. Brooke is also a junior in high school, and is the varsity teams goalie. When they first meet on the field, it was something different.
