Dreaming in the Dark

In Brooke Mildwood's world, heels are as important as the Glock tucked away in her classic double flap Chanel bag. At 21 years old, she knows 3 things: Designer shoes, guns, and doing whatever her father, Max Milwood, asks of her. She's always been the typical rich girl, Dad's princess. But there are costs to the money. Which includes less than legal business in Mansport City. She and her twin, Barrett, often must collect payments and use fists to keep Dad in control of those around him.

When an old enemy comes back into their lives, she's separated from her twin and pushed away form the family business. Brooke has never known the freedom she has now. She's flirting with contractors in flannel shirts and opening up doors to a past love she never thought she'd know again.

Brooke must decide if she'll stay under Max Mildwood's thumb, or risk everything for the life she's dream of in the dark.
