MY SIDE OF THE STORY

During the past few years I found out that people I used to be friends with would talk about me behind the scenes, creating their own scripts and scenarios & making me the villain in their own story. Not only that, the general public, along with social media, would sometimes twist the narrative about climate change and world's wellness & I felt the need to write about it. Other than that, this project also revolves around my past, involving all kinds of emotions, vulnerability, growth and healing. In a way, this is me letting go. This is me storytelling through poetry about who I am to a greater extent. With this collection, I wanted to show you a different side of me, I wanted to go deeper into my own identity & life's considerations in general. Last but not least, this project is also a reminder that everything will be okay. It's a reminder to not give up because we are all in this world, in this time, for a reason. Trust the process, be faithful to your intuition and values, believe in yourself. You're not alone in this, I am here with you. I hope this project will help you in the process of releasing and healing in the way it truly helped me too. Hello, I'm Michael and this is my side of the story.
