I'm starting my mermaid shifting journey and I'm currently still doing research on mermaid. I wanna be a Freshwater Tropical mermaid (knowing damn well that I don't live by the ocean.) but my parents are thinking about moving somewhere else soon because they don't like where we currently are. (SOUTH DAKOTA) BUTTTT I'm just gonna be writing things down that I notice. I want to stay motivated because sometimes I can procrastinate and then loose interest in something 😭

I haven't lost interest at all, just been on and off trying to balance teenage life and mermaid shifting. I'm getting closer to achieving my goal but do not lose hope! I try to update as much as possible. :DAll Rights Reserved

A fat rat scurried across my path, damn thing scared the sh*t out of me. My heart pounding I looked down watching for the rat as I left the alley and not paying attention to my surroundings. I walked straight into someone. Mumbling my apologies while I step to the left of him. He stepped with me. Excusing myself I tried to move to the right of him, he followed me again. As I looked up I realized he wasn't alone. There were three more guys in a small circle surrounding me. What the hell just kids, ages 14 to 18.
