Eren is determined to see what lies behind the glowing Walls that housed humanity, and it seemed his only ticket in were the little flying humans that called themselves 'Scouts'. All he had to do was befriend them, right? Easy enough. Hopefully the strange man he met outside of the walls would be of some help.

Perhaps he could eventually grow a pair of his own wings, with the right help. That help happened to come in the form of an emotionally constipated, vertically challenged man who ventured within the deeper and darker parts of humanity, the parts that were unspoken of by those who dwelled on the surface. But regardless wings were wings and they would soar anywhere with the right user.
