"Kacchan? I've been looking for you everywhere!" Katsuki heard the familiar sound of his childhood friend's voice, as well as the relief behind his tone. Katsuki looked up and met his face, tinted red from the flaming light that was encapsulating the two. Izuku's eyes were wide and red rimmed, watering, though from tears or too much smoke, Katsuki didn't know.
"Dumbass! What are you doing? Run!" Katsuki yelled at the other boy, coughing again as he stared down the shadow blocking the exit way.
"Kacchan!" Izuku yelled instead of moving, causing Katsuki's anger to rise.
"Deku, if you don't turn around and stop blocking my way out, I swear to whatever God is out there-"
"Kacchan..." His voice was soft, but still hoarse from its overuse, and the fear behind his tone caused Bakugou to pause.
"Why the fuck..? What's wrong?" he yelled, his throat rubbed raw from all the yelling to the other heroes in their rescue attempts.
"Kacchan, please... just..."
"Izuku, run, please."
