He had a couple of friends, did good at school, his parents were cool (well as cool as they can be when you are a single child and adopted), he didn't have panic attacks anymore, he managed to hide his wings and no one bullied him anymore, almost. At this point he didn't want anything to change, but he usually didn't get what he wished for. That night everything changed. He knew he shouldn't have gone to that dinner, but that doesn't mean he regret it. He met his best friend that night, a best friend he might be falling for.
