Elizabeth was last seen almost 309 years ago when Mikael attacked New Orleans  all those years ago. 
Along with her father Mikael "killed" her and tide her up on the stage to tell his kids that Marcel and Elizabeth are died and they could never get away from him. 
  
But little did any of them know she was very much alive. she awoke from her death before her father did after she awoke she went into a killing rampage, but the person she wanted to kill the most was her grandfather Mikael.  after she couldn't find him she found an old cave far away from the city and tide herself up and she stayed there for 309 years until one day some one set her free.
