Humanity has breached the reaches of space, this was supposed to be the golden age and era for humanity. However, one event led to another, and we are in a dark age, civil war, strife, hunger and famine reign supreme, and war and distress spread like wildfire. Mars was hell under the regime. Earth was barren and destroyed, a relic of what was and where they came from. The resistances are crushed out by corporations and authoritarian regimes spotted through the solar system, dark ages II it was coined.

The story of Nihonkoku Shoukan Beyond will follow Japan in the world of Space Battleship Yamato (2199/2202/2205) after their transference to the new world. This story is inspired by the original NHS and fanfics like Summoning America by DrDoritosMD. It will feature similar plots to the OG NHS by Minorou and the fanfics by other creators I have the pleasure to read. With this as my first English fanfic novel, please don't be too harsh.
