It's been 2 weeks since a conflicted pre-law student, Karma Murami, emerged victorious from the deadly games and secured her seat as the Queen of Diamonds. Her mind was made when she decided to stay as a citizen, but her heart wasn't. Now, a new batch of players has entered the borderlands for a new game and Karma has chosen to pose as a player. 

She makes unexpected connections and friendships, but one irritating, yet witty player in particular challenges her intellect and her heart.
