Sabi nila, mas masakit daw ang manatili kaysa sa bumitaw. Sabi nila, mas mahirap ang magpatuloy at indahin ang paulit-ulit na sakit kaysa sa umalis at bitawan ang lahat. For them, holding on means staying amidst the pain and scars that it had caused them and letting go means setting things free for them to not be able to feel pain. They say holding on is being loyal, while letting go is being too weak, but for Ash, it's not it. Holding on is the eagerness to hold things for it to not be able to be away from us and letting go means realizing that not all things are worth the hold. For her, letting go is a sign of strength, for it hurts letting go. For her, letting go is maturity and letting go means being able to achieve greater things. She sacrified a lot just for her lover to achieve his dreams and she knew that it's all worth-it. He's worth-it.

Since he was young, Khaydel De Luna vowed to his parents that he would do everything to achieve the dreams that they wanted for him. With the pen and paper on his hand, he would do all the things to pave a way towards his dream to be one of the top journalists of the country. He would do all the tasks just to be the headline of his own scoop. He thought everything was as serene and peaceful as the calm waves, but, it wasn't. It was just the calm before the storm. Like a strong typhoon, someone barged inside his perimeter. With the gun and piercing gaze, the man was owning, Khaydel knew it wasn't good news. He knew that he should start building walls and burning bridges, but he found his defenses collapsing like dominoes. With the tension rising between the two of them, Khaydel knew that he should think of a better strategy to defend his heart from further damages. Would he fight for his beliefs inside the battle of heart? Or would he surrender himself to the man as they conquer each other's territory?
