(this may or may not be considered as an AU) It is a known fact in the Wizarding World that a child conceived through a love potion, does not pocess the ability feel or experience love. Most of these children would feel empty for the rest of their lives. They might even feel as though they're missing out. Tom Riddle feels differently about the so called 'curse.' The 15 year old Slytherin boy always thought that emotions, such as love, were a weakness. So he didn't really care that he could not feel it. All of this changed though when he gets paired up with a girl for his 5th year potions project. Tom always admired the girl from afar. He always felt quite interested in her. He would be lying if he said he didn't have a soft spot for the girl. But what happens when he later starts feeling certain emotions towards her? What happens when he realizes that the exact emotion he feels, was the one that was deemed impossible for him to have? (Y/n) was a quiet, yet interesting Ravenclaw girl. She was confident, yet shy at the time. She didn't have any friends. This never bothered her, as she wasn't particularly fond with most of the people in her classes. She also thought that having friends would distract her from excelling in her classes. But what happens when her potions professor partners her up with the infamous, emotionless Tom Riddle for a project? What happens when a friendship blossoms between the Slytherin boy and (Y/n)? What if this friendship becomes something more? A/n I read a lot of Tom Riddle fan fictions, and the 'love' is always toxic. That is probably because a relationship with Tom would be toxic 😭 but I'm more of a soft, hopeless romantic type. So, this FanFic will most definitely be unrealistic. Tom will probably still be a psychotic, but less. I may or may not end this as tragically, or as beautifully as I can. Maybe both 🤷♀️All Rights Reserved
