A hundred years from now, America is much different. It went through as the people call it, "The Second Civil War in American History." States became allies with each other and fought against other states. After twenty-one years of bloodshed, the regions were formed. Walls were built around allied states and the price for crossing them can be your head. In a region by the name of I.F. or Industry Farming (consisting of Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Iowa, Michigan, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, and the West half of New York.) a organization is created called Rebels.

This is where Lucy, Sebastian, Juliette, Maddie, Elise, Carter-Camile, Conner, Lauren, and many others find their home. Inside there secret hideout, they make plans to get the government back to it's previous state.

When Lucy Doyle is arrested, the others must save her before the government kills her. While in prison, she meets the man who arrested her, Nicholas Peters and realizes that the government may not be exactly as it seems.
