Poetry's Tale to Tell
One sample of my work (Note not all poems will be so serious, some are story like others are light hearted): "Every day, something happens... Someone gets bullied, Just because "They're different" "Nerdy" "Annoying" "Have no sense of fashion..." All those things are of unimportance...! Everyone has a choice, Don't let what someone says, change it! You could stand down... Watch as the victim pleads for help... That's the easy path, But is it the right one? Do you want that on your consciousness? The pain can be so bad... It takes a life... Then it's too late, Regret becomes your best mate... A depressing thought... Although. It doesn't have to be that way...! YOU can make it change! Stand tall, speak loud, Stand up for what is right! That one action... Can save a life...! You could make a friend, A REAL friend. Spread awareness and Right the wrong! Be brave! For those who suffer... You're not alone...! If there's no knight to slay The evil demons away... Find it within you, to be strong! If you get no help, save yourself! You deserve happiness, and it will come! For karma never forgets you! Nor your enemies... Once it comes around, it will go around... I left behind the scared girl I was. I didn't want to be her anymore, and standing up to those who bully is what I should have done from the beginning, but it was different now. It was easier when he hated me. The torture he put me through is nothing compared to the torture I battle every day because of my feelings for him. I wanted to deny it all. Deny that it was even there, but I couldn't fool myself. I had only a couple more months before I graduate and leave this wicked old town, but will I be able to escape my own feeling? Deny the spark I felt when I am alone with him? I needed to able to survive the rest of the school year as an Outsider... **This is the second book in the Out series. "We said whoever eats the most pizza has to do the dare no matter how cruel or easy it is." This is just a glimpse of our sleepovers. Ivy and Autumn always drag me into some kind of trap to do their evil dares. Tonight, they used my worst weakness, food. Sighing, "fine. I'll take the dare." They cheered and high-fived as I stood in front of them, glaring. "Better not be something bad!" I blurted, making them snap out of their cheering. They looked at me with a sinister smirk. The smirk where you know their up to something. Something bad. - Meet Jade Williams. Your average girl in every single way. She uses her weekends to binge watch on Netflix and takes her time binge snacking. In no way she would be considered perfect. Yes, sometimes she is picked on every now and then but nothing to extreme. Well despite the fact she has a crush on the most unexpected person. Bryan Jones, the schools bad-boy. He's basically a emotionless, fit brick dressed up in leather. Just your typical bad boy, right? Her life changes from late nights on Netflix to possibly going out to parties because of two guys. Conner Peterson and Bryan Jones. The most anyone can do to keep her out of trouble is to pray. Not to mention the fact that her two dearest friends are two living and breathing dare making machines. I stepped forward and asked, "Where do you want me?" It took me a second to realize what I just said. Shit! I placed a hand on my crimson face and muttered, "Get your head out of the gutter! You know what I meant." He laughed, his voice sounded hoarse and deep even when he's laughing. I peeked at him from the gap I made between my fingers. He was close. So close. He grabbed my hand and took me to the bed. Damn! It did sound sexy. His shirt was loose. Too large for me, and it hung on me like a cloth hung on a hanger. Anthology Of Love(Poetry Collection)
Greetings dear readers! This is my first ever poems book. And um I wrote these all based on my personal experiences. As you may journey through chapters of this book based on my life and events throughout. A little sprinkle of the chapters are fictional but nearly all are non-fiction straight from reality. Hopefully you will love this journey with me. Few of these poems are dedicated to my friends or based on their experiences/point of view. Most poems may contain heartbreak or sad feelings but still the majority of the poems are about love, happiness and positivity. I am so glad that I am in a better place now, looking back on my life just a while ago I was not the person I am today. With the help of people I love the most I have overcome everything I needed to dodge. A bullied girl meets the popular new student. ***** "Still saying that you're perfectly okay?" Max whispers. I'm surprised to hear that his voice is shaking. "I'm going to find who did this to you." ***** One time, I was the most popular girl in school. All the students in Royal Heights, the school of the richest, knew me as the pretty Luna Klein, daughter of a famous superstar and a well-known billionaire. But the next thing I know, I'm an outcast. Just because of a complicated thing called love, everything turns 180 degrees. Now, I'm the girl that everyone hates. I've lost all my friends. I've lost my best friend. And I've lost the guy that I adore. All I can do now is to ignore the bullies and to survive each day quietly, hoping that I don't attract too much attention like before.
