Skylar's one wish was to create a place for her in this world. So when she managed to escape the Red Room a few years ago, she made sure to become someone else and live a quiet life in New York. She tried her best to leave her past life behind her, but needed to rely on her skills to survive. Everything takes a quick turn of events when a job goes sour however and she seemed to have caught some unwanted attention. Her number one priority is to keep her friends safe from the evil that roams the city's streets, as well as the other people that seem to be after her. This is a new, original story with Marvel character and my own OC. I hope you enjoy!

Our beloved Nat deserves a happy ending. She deserves the love she was never given. I miss her terribly. And thus, this fanfic was born to cope with her absence the best way I knew how: writing. Vic Bronson is a US military sniper with a very specific skill set. Since being out of the army, she's taken up coaching future soldiers how to shoot. With no family, no friends, Tony pays her a visit and offers her a spot on the Avengers. With nothing to lose, she takes it, and thus begins a journey she never believed she would be a part of. And when her past comes back to bite her, a familiar redheaded Russian soothes her with stories of her own experiences, and they realize they're not as different as they thought.
