Violet Ellison has always known that Elliot Beckett was off limits when it comes to relationships, but when she's paired up with him for her senior project she can't help but notice how much she enjoys his presence. Though, throughout the beginning of secondary school, she drifted from him when she realized they were complete opposites before he suddenly disappeared at the beginning of ninth grade. Now, she can no longer tell the difference between her romantic feelings and platonic feelings. From bike rides to the beach, spending weekends in the cafe and pulling all-nighters together, Violet and Elliot have been known as a duo since their childhood. Being childhood friends has always been something she's cherished with Elliot. Now, she doesn't know if it's worth it when she sees him in a romantic way.
