Kaya was around 23 when this all started which made her 24, or 25. Her only mission was to find her brother, till she met Daryl. As in met the man she fell for completely against her will. She didn't want to fall in love, love meant destructions. But Daryl, he was special; he was like her. Hurt, lost, wronged, and constantly losing people they loved. She couldn't do this alone anymore. She knew it, Daryl knew it too. She wants to find her brother,max. she's been looking for him since they got separated at the start of this. All she knows is that staying at that farm or with that group won't help find him.
I'm sorry if the script I ain't the same in the show bc I can't remember what exactly they say
AND the stuff mentioned in the story is not to make kaya cute and hurt because that is not what I'm trying to do. rape dose does not make people cute so please don't think that. I just wanted to make her a badass survivor of all that bad stuff so it makes since why shes so stone-cold.

Story starts right after the incident at Hershel's barn but does not follow the story line of the show after that. The main character is a young woman named Nora who at first has developed feelings for Glenn after he was the one who helped get her out of the city. When she realizes she's held on to her feelings too long, she quickly starts to feel lost. Nora is somewhat of a trouble magnet but most of all she just wants to find her place in this new world. Along the way, she finds comfort in an unlikely person. (I do not own the original art for the cover) {I started this story back in December 2011 on Tumblr and although it didn't get the fan following that I had always hoped for, it did well in it's own way. It had loyal followers and I got comments on how much readers loved it. I thought I would try posting it on Wattpad to see what becomes of it. The story is completed on Tumblr and as I bring it over here, I'm also doing small rewrites to the story. There are scenes that I needed to cut out and change up just because my view of things has changed as well and I wanted this story to reflect that.
