Fun loving Ekta takes a tumble {literally} the day she meets Lars.

Unfortunately or fortunately (which might never be decided) Ekta's tumble is more than just a lovestruck slip.

Only her insane spirit would find herself falling off the sides of a Ferris wheel-

And only her newest love interest would stop it just to sweep her off her feet.

Lars mans the controls of the giant machinery, nearly killing Ekta.

And when Ekta wakes up in a hospital bed, Indian blood hot,

you can bet your millions she's pissed.

They fall in love of course- the fun Indian girl and the old fashioned white man- that's not the mystery.

The mystery isn't why Ekta loves him, her blood runs sweet just thinking of the fun she'll have, and the challenge Lars will be- feeling as though sugar cake is being pumped into her system.

The mystery isn't why the mere 14 year olds find themselves loving so early.

The mystery is not how they cope with the horrible racism.

The mystery is why Lars loves her.
